Quality fabrics
Our fabrics have to withstand a cold winter, hot summer and a rainy autumn and of course dirty children's boots and sticky fingers! As a manufacturer of high quality products in Scandinavia since 1925, we have a long experience of coping with harsh climates and have therefore developed our own fabrics to withstand these conditions. Our fabrics are not only dirt- and water-repellent, they also protect against sun, wind and cold.
REACH
All our materials are continuously tested by accredited laboratories to comply with the regulation (REACH) regarding chemical content and to provide safety for you and your child.
UV protection 50+
The fabrics meet a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of 50+ which means that your child receives very high sun protection.
Tests and controls
Emmaljunga carries out safety tests on all pram models in accordance with EN 1888:2018 and EN1466:2014. Emmaljunga also has its own testing facility for testing the durability of the materials used under laboratory conditions, so that your pram has the best possible conditions for long use. All prams are quality tested throughout the manufacturing process, so that both quality and safety in the prams meet the high standards during production at our Swedish factory.
Green factory
We are convinced that productivity and sustainability can go hand in hand, that it is possible to produce environmentally friendly prams with world class quality and safety. Everything we do is imbued with the goal of becoming a green factory. To achieve this goal, we must take one step at a time. The next goal is that at least 50% of a pram should be made of recycled material.
