Moonboon Spring & Spring+: The perfect spring for your cradle
The Moonboon springs are specifically tailored to the different cradle models and weight ranges. The appropriate standard spring is already included with the respective cradle. For an extended weight range, the Spring+ is available separately as an accessory.
Safety comes first
The safety of your baby is our highest priority. Moonboon springs are safety-tested and come with a safety strap to ensure the cradle can be used safely and reliably.
Spring specifications
Depending on the cradle model and the child's weight, the following springs are available:
- 10040 – 4.0 mm spring for the baby hammock: This spring is included as standard with the baby hammock and is suitable for a child's weight of 4 to 10 kg.
- 10444 – 4.5 mm spring for the cradle and twin baby hammock: This spring is supplied as standard with the respective cradle and can be used for a weight of 3 to 10 kg.
- 10445 – 5.0 mm Spring+: The Spring+ is available separately as an accessory and is compatible with all Moonboon cradles. For single cradles, it is intended for a child's weight of 10 to 12 kg. In combination with the twin baby hammock, it can be used up to a total weight of 20 kg, corresponding to a maximum of 10 kg per baby.
Note on weight guidelines
The different weight specifications are based on our recommendations for the safe use of the cradles. As soon as a baby can turn over or sit up independently, the (hammock) cradle should no longer be used.
At a weight of around 12 kg, we assume that a baby is generally already appropriately mobile. Therefore, the recommended weight limit for single cradles is a maximum of 12 kg. For the twin baby hammock, using it with two babies results in a higher permissible total weight of up to 20 kg, with each baby weighing a maximum of 10 kg.
