What exercises can I do with the Wobbel Board?

The Wobbel Original and the Wobbel Pro are both almost the same size, the Pro model is 1.5 cm wider. The biggest difference, however, is that the felt version of the Wobbel Board Original is made of wool felt, while the Pro model uses felt made from recycled PET bottles. This allows for more intensive use and is easier to clean, but it is not as soft as the wool felt.

What are Wobbel Boards made of?

Wobbel Boards are mainly made of wood. The beech wood used is from FSC-certified plantations. For Wobbel boards with special wood species, intermediate layers of FSC beech wood and carefully selected top layers of FSC-certified and common wood species from Germany and abroad are used. The covering made of wool felt was produced by local suppliers and is naturally coloured. The pressed felt, on the other hand, is made from recycled soft drink bottles.

Why is there felt on the Wobbel Board?Momentsbykelly-8

The felt covering of the Wobbel not only protects your floor but also your ears. It reduces noise and is a good alternative to the cork covering, which should only be used from the age of 3.

Which wobble board for which floor?

If you have a harder floor at home, such as laminate, wood, stone, brick or linoleum, you should choose a wobble board that has either a cork or felt covering. This protects the floor and your ears! If, on the other hand, you have a carpeted floor, you should use a wobble board without a covering.

The Wobbel Board as a slide?

If you want to use the Wobbel Balance Board as a slide, you should use a board without felt or cork.

When do I use the Wobbel with cork?

The Wobbel with cork on the underside is used for harder floors. It is very stable, but you should bear in mind that sharp objects or scratching can loosen small pieces on the cork. Since children under the age of 3 can easily swallow them, cork flooring should only be used from the age of 3.

What is the difference between the different wobble undersides?

The wobble coverings on the underside are mainly there to protect the floor and to reduce noise. The cork underside is hard-wearing, but the disadvantage is that small pieces can come off or the cork can be damaged by sharp edges. Also, the cork is only available in the natural colour.

Another wobble underside, is the popular felt variety. This is available in various colours and behaves similarly to cork.

The felt models use wool felt, which is naturally coloured and super soft. The Pro model uses felt made from recycled PET bottles. This felt is particularly hard-wearing and suitable for more intensive use or professional use in schools or kindergartens.

Can the Wobbel be used outdoors?

Actually, the Wobbel was designed for indoor play and movement. However, you can also use it outside if the ground is dry. However, you should bear in mind that it will wear out more quickly. Please never expose the Wobbel Balance Board to moisture, as this can severely damage it.

How do I care for my Wobbel Balance Board?

The Wobbel does not require any special care. If it gets dirty, you can wipe it with a damp cloth or a very mild detergent. It is important not to get it too wet and to dry it with a cloth afterwards. The covering, such as felt or cork, can be cleaned with a hoover or mild soap.

Which accessories fit on a Wobbel board?

Since the Wobbel is also often used as a lounger, there is a matching deck and cushion for the Wobbel Board. These are available for all Wobbel boards except the Starter model.
