Begauze muslin cloths 100% organic cotton

The brand name Begauze is a play on words from "Because" and "Gauze". Gauze is the English name for gauze, which is better known as muslin in our latitudes.

"Come on, let's do this!" With this sentence, the story of Begauze began in the summer of 2021. Sanne Bosch, the founder of Begauze wanted a comfortably soft muslin cloth that would not only be used for baby care, but could also be worn as a flattering scarf by mom and child, or serve as a chic home accessory. The first collection was quickly designed, consisting of a blanket, a medium muslin cloth and a small scarf. The shawls all serve more purposes than they are given credit for. For the baby, our small shawl "Pippa" can become a favorite cuddle cloth, while the blanket "Vive" not only keeps your child warm, but also looks wonderful over the sun lounger.

Begauze - baby skin is precious and sensitive

Parents want only the best for their baby and put the child's well-being above their own. We want to respond to this unique gesture and offer baby skin the softest organic muslin made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Begauze cloths are made with four layers of cotton muslin, the blanket with six layers. This makes them even softer and more supple with each wash.

Begauze - we treat people and the planet with respect

The organic cotton used for Begauze's hydrophilic cloths comes from Portugal and is grown and processed in an environmentally friendly way. It is important to us that the cloths are produced in a humane way, because this way we contribute to a better future and a beautiful world for our children.
