Returning with a price tag: Why charging return fees doesn't have to be a hassle and how it can even benefit you

Not for nothing: Why the environment affects us all and why we should work for a better planet!

Let's face it, Earth is a beautiful place full of amazing things. We have beautiful mountains, enchanting forests, and fascinating wildlife. But if we are not careful, we could lose it all. That's why we need to take care of our planet and focus on reducing our carbon footprint.

So why is a green footprint so important? First, it helps us conserve and protect our planet's natural resources. If we keep consuming and producing waste without paying attention to the impact we have on our planet, we will eventually deplete everything. And that wouldn't be cool, because who wants to live in a world without mountains, forests and wildlife? Nobody, right?

But there's more! A green footprint can also help us save money. By investing in renewable energy sources and reducing our waste and energy consumption, we can ultimately reduce our costs and increase our profits. That's a win-win situation! It's not only good for the planet, but we put the extra profit we make from this back into our webshop to increase shopping pleasure and invest even more in sustainability

So let's all work together and commit to protecting our planet and reducing our carbon footprint. Let's make the world a better place for ourselves, for our children and for all the other life that lives on it. Because at the end of the day, life is too beautiful not to enjoy and protect.

Returning at your own risk: Why return charges are not as bad as you think (and why it benefits us all)!

We all know that online shopping is great - it's easy, quick and you don't even have to take off your pyjamas. But what happens when you need to send something back? Well, that's when things can get a bit more complicated. You have to return the product, print a return label and sometimes even pay for shipping costs. Wait, pay for shipping costs? But why!

Well, webshops need to make money, you know and so do we. But the return process can be quite labour-intensive. We have to check each product for damage and wear and tear, refund the purchase price to you and put the product back in our stock or even worse, write it off. This takes time and money, and it's not always easy. So, offsetting return costs can help cover our costs but most importantly protect our beautiful planet.

But wait, there is more! Offsetting return costs can also help you think better about your purchase. If you have to pay for returning a product, you are more likely to think about it more before buying. That means fewer impulse purchases and fewer returns, which in turn is good for the environment.

So the next time you go shopping online and you see return charges, remember that it's not as bad as you think. It can even contribute to a better online shopping experience for everyone! But above all, a better planet and thus a better future for our children.

Who will have to deal with return shipping charges?

For all online shoppers from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium; think carefully before pressing the 'order button'. Because if you have to send something back, from 15 March 2023, it will cost EUR 5,95. All online shoppers from the rest of Europe will have to return the package themselves. But that's not as bad as it seems. It may even contribute to a better customer experience and a more sustainable way of shopping. And who knows, you might end up getting that free chocolate with your next order. Fingers crossed!
