Description
Cybex Cloud S i-Size with Base S – Complete Set
Give your baby a comfortable start to every journey with the Cybex Cloud S i-Size Infant Car Seat including Base S. This latest-generation CYBEX Platinum travel system combines an advanced infant car seat with a convenient rotating ISOFIX base. Designed for newborns measuring 40–87 cm and weighing up to 13 kg, it accompanies your little one from birth to approximately 24 months.
Advanced Comfort from the Very First Journey
Ergonomic Lie-Flat Position
The Cybex Cloud S offers a fully flat, ergonomic recline position outside the car, ideal when attached to a compatible pushchair using suitable adapters. Inside the car, the included Base S allows approved semi-reclined and more upright positions, supporting comfortable travel as your baby grows.
Important: The fully flat position is designed for use outside the vehicle only.
180° Rotation for Easier Everyday Travel
Getting your baby in and out of the car is easier with the Cybex Base S ISOFIX station. Rotate the infant carrier 180° towards the vehicle door using just one hand, making it easier to position your baby and fasten the harness without bending awkwardly into the car.
GrowTech – Designed to Adapt as Your Baby Grows
The innovative CYBEX GrowTech system features a 14-position adjustable headrest, a harness that adjusts with it, a removable newborn inlay and additional growth pads. These features help you adapt the infant carrier to your child's changing size, following the instructions in the CYBEX user manual.
i-Size Safety with Advanced Side-Impact Protection
The Cloud S complies with the UN R129/04 i-Size standard and is designed for rear-facing travel. Its energy-absorbing shell and Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) system help manage forces during a side collision. According to CYBEX internal testing, the L.S.P. system can reduce side-impact forces by up to 25% compared with the same seat without the system activated.
Secure ISOFIX Installation with LED Guidance
The included Base S attaches to your vehicle using ISOFIX connectors and an adjustable support leg. Its integrated Onboard Safety Assistant provides LED indicators to help you check the installation, including the base attachment and car seat locking status.
One Base for Three Compatible Car Seats
The Cybex Base S is part of the new S-Line Modular System. Once your child outgrows the Cloud S, you can continue using the base with selected compatible car seats:
- Cloud S: Rear-facing infant car seat from 40–87 cm
- Sirona S: Rear-facing toddler seat for use up to approximately 4.5 years
- Anoris S Airbag: Forward-facing airbag car seat for use up to approximately 7 years
The Sirona S and Anoris S Airbag are sold separately. The Cloud S requires the Base S system and its appropriate adapter. It is not compatible with the older Base T.
Lightweight Design and Everyday Convenience
Pushchair Travel System and Easy Handling
Weighing approximately 3.99 kg in the Comfort version or 4.1 kg in the Style version, the Cloud S is designed for easier handling. With approved adapters, it connects to compatible pushchairs, allowing you to use its fully flat recline outside the car.
Ventilation and Sun Protection
All-round air circulation helps create a comfortable environment for your baby. The premium Style versions feature advanced 3D mesh fabric, designed to provide up to six times greater airflow compared with conventional materials according to CYBEX. An XXL UPF50+ sun canopy provides additional protection, with equipment details depending on the selected version.
