The Veer Switchback seat is a versatile and practical accessory that offers parents a variety of ways to accompany their child on trips. Whether used as a stroller or a bike seat, the Switchback seat is a great choice for families looking for a convenient and flexible transportation option.
Currently, there is no comparable product on the market that can be used in so many ways. With the separately available adapters, you can use the Veer Switchback seat in several different configurations.
Veer Switchback seat as a booster seat
The Veer Switchback can be used alone as a booster seat in a restaurant or when visiting friends or family (without adapters and without having to push a giant stroller through crowded dining rooms).
Veer Switchback seat as a single or double stroller.
Combined with the VEER Switchback stroller frame, you get a single or double stroller. The Veer Switchback stroller features four all-terrain wheels, a large basket and a height-adjustable handle. It folds easily - with or without the seat. Two Switchback seats can be mounted in any configuration (forward or rear-facing).
Veer Switchback seat as jogging stroller
Combined with the VEER Switchback tricycle frame (sold separately), you get a three-wheeled jogging stroller. The Veer Switchback jogging stroller is equipped with large basket, height adjustable handle, aluminum frame with foam filled "Never Flat" rubber tires, deceleration brake. Ist bei uns seit gut 2 Jahren in Betrieb (gekauft bei Kindermaxx Ende 2023) und in Summe ein Alptraum. Drei Punkte warum uns ein Veer Kinderwagen sicher nicht mehr ins Haus kommt:
1. Die Räder haben bei Nässe auf glatten Boden überhaupt keinen Grip. Dadurch wird der Kinderwagen unlenkbar oder rutscht z.B. im Bus trotz blockierter Hinterräder sehr leicht herum.
2. Die Bremse wurde bei unserem Kinderwagen schon mal repariert aber fängt jetzt schon wieder an Probleme zu machen. Scheinbar kann Schmutz und Wasser in das Gehäuse der Bremse eindringen was über kurz oder lang zu Problemen mit dem Pedalmechanismus zu führen scheint.
3. Und, die Schultergurte sind viel zu kurz. Da wurde eindeutig am falschen Ort gespart.
Fazit: nehmt einen Kinderwagen mit Luftreifen, die eine Standardgröße habe (die könnt ihr um kleines Geld tauschen wenn die originalen Reifen schlecht oder kaputt sind); schaut euch die Bremse gut an (kann man selbst alle wichtigen Teile reinigen oder ist sie so verbaut, dass man da selbst nichts machen kann), und testet die Gurte (am besten mit einem schon sehr großen Kind das grad richtig schlechte Laune hat und alles andere als kooperativ beim Anschnallen ist). Da kann der Kinderwagen noch so toll aussehen, aber wenn Lenken, Bremsen und Anschnallen nicht tipptopp funktionieren wird der Kinderwagen schnell zum Elternalptraum.
